getting old

i've heard of a lot of people not wanting to grow old. it's like old age is the end of the world. true at some point old age will take you to your end, eventually. all of us are bound to die at some point. it's just interesting to note that i don't dread growing old. a friend succinctly used the word "entitled" when asked how she felt reaching the big THREE ZERO. yes, yes, being 30 doesn't equate to being old. OLD is when you reach 60 and get yourself a senior citizen's card {haha}. anyhow, "entitled" is a good enough word to describe my own feelings of reaching three decades on earth. she was right when she said that at this age, we're no longer too young to be considered naive nor too old to have gone past our prime.
